Flock Browser

In Blog on June 30, 2006 at 3:28 am
I love Firefox. It rocks, nothing is more rocksome than it. But I heard this new browser Flock was fan-c for bloggers and the like with all kinds of integration from flikr, de.licio.us and blogger so I gave it a try. So here is me doing just that. I don’t know if it can compete with my homeboy Firefox.

–UPDATE–

Wow, this is pretty awesome… But I am not converted yet! I could always add my own technorati tags. But I am lazy so probably wont happen.

My profile is up at MetBlogs now. I’ll be making my first post this weekend so stay tuned!

Metroblogging Seattle

In Blog on June 29, 2006 at 12:18 am

I sent my application in to Metroblogging a few weeks back because I love that site. I saw they were looking for writers and I was like HELLZ YEAH. So today my gmail notifier goes off. “Thanks for getting in touch about writing for Metroblogging. We’d love for you to write for us!” and I was like “BOOM SHAZAM“! That is some fucking awesome news.

I’ll be blogging about Seattle there at least three times a week. If you aren’t in my city you’ll be happy to know they have blogs for a lot of the other major cities. Check them out. I have been a fan of MetBlogs for a long time now.

Congratulations can be sent on hundred dollar bills, thanks!

Brooke Hogan Hulk Hogan

In Blog on June 28, 2006 at 12:32 am

You know I get more hits to this blog for people making a search for the Hulkster and his Daughter Brooke Hogan than just about anything else? Second only to Lightning and then Harry Potter Book 7 Spoilers.

Which is so odd because these are all things I have posted about like once or twice the entire year this blog has been around. So what I am thinking is do I turn this into a Hulk Hogan and Brooke Hogan blog, Harry Potter blog or something else?

I should probably refine the scope of this blog but shit man, I am a pop culture geek. I have too many interests to narrow my spectrum. But I am considering it. Maybe concentrating on one specific thing but doing a little coverage on whatever else.

I don’t think I’ll turn 1.21 Gigawatts into a Hulk Hogan and Brooke Hogan blog, or a Harry Potter blog but what will I do? Focus focus focus.

After all the times I’ve mentioned Brooke Hogan and Hulk Hogan I bet I get even more hits from the goog. Brooke Hogan is pretty hot though.

Modern English Melt With You

In Blog on June 28, 2006 at 12:11 am

I miss my 80s website. I still have it up, hell yeah, it’s going on 10 years now next year.

I’m sitting here in front of the computer listening to Dead or Alive and Modern English’s Melt With You and I’m thinking man, the 80s were awesome. I need a new hobby, I need to put creative energy into other things. I need to update that site.

Modern English.

Look at That

In Blog on June 28, 2006 at 12:07 am

Look at that. I stop my hobby for a while and all of a sudden I am dropping blog posts like a MAD MAN.

I think I may have to section out time for blogging everyday where I just sit here and write whatever the fuck. Know what I’m sayin’?

Creative Energy

In Blog on June 28, 2006 at 12:02 am

Do you ever think you need a new hobby? I have this one hobby I really enjoy aside from blogging, its geeky and fun and awesome. But I spend so much creative energy on it that I could be spending elsewhere making a bigger success of my real life.

Oh I’m not quitting it, that’s for sure. But I need to somehow, harness the power to the flux capacitor of life ya know?

I’m a very creative individual I think and my hobbies have been a success because of it but what if I put as much effort into making it out in the real world?

Fremont Fair

In Blog on June 27, 2006 at 11:59 pm

Man, I had an entire post about the Fremont Fair but Newsvine ate it. I guess I didn’t wait long enough to let it save fully. Damn it, it was a good write up to. Sorry everyone. I’ll try and make it up some how.

PS If you use Newsvine let the bastard continue to save until it doesn’t say ‘SAVING’ anymore.
